Gender Pay Gap Just Got More Teeth⚡

Are you ready for it?

Last Wednesday (March 26), the Australian Parliament passed a key amendment to the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012—and it just gave the law more teeth.

⚠️If you’re a C-Suite Leader or Board Member of an Australian company with more than 500 employees, consider this your official notice

That’s around 2,000 employers collectively responsible for nearly 3.9 million workers.

Under the amendment, you are now legally required to report and demonstrate progress on at least 3 of the 6 Gender Equality Indicators (GEIs)—with a three-year window to show results.

✅ Many companies have already started moving, as we saw in the latest WGEA data release.

🚫 But a whole lot haven’t.

This change gives long-overdue accountability to closing the gap—and for leaders, it’s time to act.

Because data truly does set us free.

You can choose the path.
