I’ve known them for several decades. And it was so nice catching up with them in Newcastle this week.

Anton van der Walt is a very senior global leader. Smart, very tuned in to the needs of leaders at every level. He’s written three books on leadership and loves solving the challenges companies face today.

And he knows manufacturing and engineering inside out. There’s a huge opportunity to empower and set free front line leaders to do their best work, and he’s your guy.

Afzal Ali and his family have just arrived in Australia. I was very impressed when I first met him many years ago and hired him for an opening in Ford India HR while I was there on international assignment.

What caught my attention with Afzal still stands today… Sharp, energetic, strategic business partner, brings his best game to every challenge and loves solving tricky issues. Now with years of deep HR experience in a Fortune 10 company, he is eager to find a great HR role with a great company in the NSW Hunter region.
